What Is A Mobile Surf School?
Diiscoburger is a mobile surf school, meaning we are not restricted to one beach. We service most beaches between Santa Monica and Malibu. Being flexible allows us to teach you at the beach that is most convenient, as well as find the best conditions for you to learn in on any given day.
What Do I Need To Bring?
Every lesson already includes a wetsuit and a surfboard! All you have to worry about is bringing a bathing suit, a towel, sunscreen, and water.
How Intense Are The Lessons?
Intensity of each lesson can vary based on a number of factors. We thoroughly research the conditions for each lesson to ensure that the wave style matches what you would like. We can tailor any lesson to any level you're seeking. For adrenaline seekers, we can find bigger and heavier waves. For people looking to relax and enjoy the beauty of the ocean, there are plenty of mellow and crumbly waves that really lend themselves to your improvement. Whatever you want your surfing experience to look like, we can deliver!
What Is The Breakdown Of Time For The Lessons?
The timing of each 1.5 hr lesson typically works out to:
15 minutes of suiting up/land instruction
1 hour of surfing
15 minutes debrief and changing
For 2 hr lessons it follows the same pattern:
15 minutes of suiting up/land instruction
1.5 hrs of surfing
15 minutes debrief and changing
What Is Your Cancellation Policy?
Our policy is that you may cancel/reschedule your lesson free of charge up to 48 hours before the start time. Between 48 hours and 24 hours we can give you a 50% refund. Unfortunately, any cancellations made within 24 hours of your lesson are non-refundable.
